I have lived in Lauderdale for nineteen years with my husband, Matt, and my three children. Ash attends Augsburg university with the hope of becoming a high school English teacher. Twins Loue and Lloyd attend Roseville Area High School. They love boys volleyball! Matt is retiring from his role as a sergeant with the St. Paul Police. He was awarded a Bush Fellowship for his role in improving 21st century policing, and just finished his MPA at the Humphrey School. His capstone project is community driven, story based training for police. We have two dogs, Archie and Molly, and a popular flock of backyard chickens.
I am passionate about building strong communities in which everyone can thrive. I also work in nonprofit human services, advocating for people with disabilities to live the lives they choose. Currently I am the Director of Advocacy and Community Relations for Hammer and Northeast Residences (two nonprofits merging into one.
I volunteer with many community organizations, the Roseville Area Schools, and my church. I also recently became a Minnesota Master Naturalist! In my spare time, I love Nordic walking, reading, and entertaining.
